Angelle's Diner Troutville

Just found Angelle's for a quick breakfast (that wasn't a chain or fast food) visiting a supplier up here. I am SO glad I found this lil gem! All the young ladies were smilin and were immediate to greet me and without pressure, take my order. The atmosphere was light and super pleasant. I watched them all navigate through the many breakfast orders coming and going, and as well mine came out promptly. Sitting at the counter, I could see all the fresh and real ingredients being used, the careful and clean handling, but also the enjoyment the ladies had working together and helping all the customers. The food was incredible, and sitting where I did, I was able to see all the other dishes folks ordered and all I can say is dang, I wish I ordered all that food too! I ordered a Meat Lover Omele

We were looking for a quick stop for lunch while traveling and stumbled on Angelle's Diner. Immediately had a Waffle House deja vu moment when pulling into the parking lot and going inside (you'll understand when you go there). Was pleasantly surprised by the menu offerings with so many options that will please most anyone. Ordered the fish sandwich with fries on the side and both were quickly served and hot. Was a very good lunch and this will now be our primary lunch stop when traveling to NC. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Pretty standard local diner. We got brunch before heading back out to continue a road trip. Very busy around 11 on a Friday morning, but we were able to find a table.Fairly cramped interior, but a nice outdoor patio, as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and food was ready quickly! Ordered a smothered biscuit skillet, cranberry & candied pecan waffle, and a biscuit. We're fairly sure that all were some element of frozen/store bough (with the exception of the waffle), but not obviously so and good, regardless. The waffle just craisins and pecans in the batter, nothing special. We did find a few hairs in the waffle, though, and noticed that none of the staff were wearing hair nets.

Very clean establishment, great prices, delicious and well cooked food. The server was very attentive and personable.

We enjoyed my son's birthday breakfast today before school. The food was great and our server was super sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon!!!
