Aniello's Pizza and Italian Restaurant

Visiting from out of state & couldn’t resist getting an old favorite. Linguine with clams & white sauce. So freaking delicious I forgot to take a picture. The take service guy was exemplary and the line of customers was constant. So impressive.

Super fresh, fast and absolutely delicious! As Italians from NY, we highly recommend Aniello's!! We had a meatball parm and a grilled chicken Caesar salad.

In my quest to replicate Nonna’s Sunday chicken parm, my journey brought me to Aniello's Pizza and Italian Restaurant. I started with the seafood combo appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and a great way to kick things off. The chicken parm was exactly what I was hoping for. Classic, well prepared, and true to expectations. I washed it down with a Foxon Park root beer, which was the perfect touch. Overall, this was an 8 out of 10 experience and a place I would gladly return to. The takeout staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the experience even better.

On 2/13/26 I ordered two slices of fresh pizza. I have lived in New Haven since I was born. That thin crust pizza slices are the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s 100% 5 star pizza! The staff is super friendly. New Haven is the pizza spot, but Aniello’s pizza in east haven is the top tier!

The atmosphere is very nice. Servers were polite and friendly. There's a take-out section where you can order slices on the side left side of the restaurant. We ordered calamari and it tasted old and got this refunded. We're from New York so the margherita pizza was ok, chicken cutlet parm was good (some parts were tough but is chicken these days), pasta combination (lasagna, manicotti, stuffed shells) was ok - lasagna was gummy.
