Anita's New Mexico Style Mexican Food

🔴 Great food, great prices, & a super friendly staff. Just a quick heads-up: Anita’s is a New Mexico–style restaurant, not a Mexican 🇲🇽 restaurant. A lot of people mix the 2 up, but New Mexican cuisine is its own thing, bold, chili-forward, & full of Hatch-pepper flavor. Mexican food is great, of course, but this is a different lane with its own amazing taste.

I don’t see what all the buzz is about this restaurant. The seating is extremely limited and tight, it feels like you’re eating on an airplane instead of a restaurant, the food is over priced, the service is awful, and parking is also very limited. I do not recommend Anita’s at all and suggest you stay away.

Came in here for breakfast after a long morning. Love the staff, they are so friendly, nice and quick with their service. The restaurant have lots of space for a bigger group. Once we sat down and order our food, it took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The portion is HUGE! I got a burrito and refried beans and I only ate about 1/3 of it and got so full. Everything was delicious and the price was great for the amount of food you get!

It's been many years since I've eaten at Anita's after moving away from the area. Luckily, I was back in town and dropped by my favorite breakfast burrito spot. Not much has changed from what I remember. Still the same great and affordable burritos! I was picking up so service was quick yet friendly. Parking is easy, just be careful of the cars in line for the drive thru. This time I ventured out of their breakfast burritos and tried other dishes. I tried the Huevos Rancheros which was delicious. The red chile sauce was perfect. My kids tried their pancakes, which they loved. I look forward to the next time in town.

Good breakfast menu, lots of variety between American breakfast and Mexicsn style breakfast. Some dishes include pork, others sausages and refried beans. The empanadas were okay, nothing to rave about and the pupusas had very little filling. Overall a decent breakfast and price was good. Would we return? Yes becasue its conveniently located down the road from Pohanka Lexus and the meals are overall pretty good.
