Applebee's Grill + Bar

A friend of mine and I came here a few weeks ago to grab a bite to eat after the beach and had a very pleasant experience while here. Our server was very nice and friendly, the staff as a whole was very nice too. The food was great and was made pretty fast too which was great! Will be back again in the future.

Seems like it is going down hill. Every time we go, something gets worst. Recently went for my wife's birthday. We both ordered steaks, hers medium rare, my medium. They both were well done. Seems they were under the warmer too long. I was server, so I know what it takes. Not sure if it's the corporate standards that have fallen off, or the management is lacking in holding their staff accountable. Manager reached out and apologized for our experience. We'll see next time if any improvements have been made.

I ordered two medium rare for my meat and they got us both well done and it was sitting out there for a long time I guess. Delayed to bring the food as well. Did expect that for my birthday dinner

they had a couple healthy options that were low in calories. I had the grilled chicken breast with a vegetable. the dessert menu was good too.

Came in last night with my family for a night out. Being as I am a restaurant manager, I’m appalled to be honest. Our server took at least 10 minutes to even get to our table. She didn’t even seem to care. She checked on us once. We were never given a child’s menu nor crayons even though we clearly had a child with us but yet the table who came after us had them. The people that work there seem very uninterested in their jobs and don’t seem to understand that they’re in the service business. Even if you’re not in a good mood, you are. I ordered the OM cheeseburger. Was told my plate was hot, I grabbed it with my barehand, it was warm. The cheese was completely congealed and dry. The fries were on the cooler side. I never leave bad reviews, but this deserved one.
