Applebee's Grill + Bar

Early lunch before crowd showed up, just after opening. Had the cravings for burgers, although we're normally keto diet. Quickly greeted and seated. Just a few other customers in for lunch. Friendly server, a real "service with a smile", which we rarely see now days.

The meal was enjoyable. Initially, the waitress was pleasant, but her demeanor became rather impolite towards the end of our visit. Additionally, she did not appear to pay close attention to my order. The restuarant itself was clean. However, I found the cost of the food to be a bit high.

Absolutely horrifying service! Never waited so long to be seated or get asked for a drink. Took 5 min to get sat down, and sat about for 25 minutes… Nobody bothered to ask for drink orders. Multiple tables looked very disappointed as well and waiting for things.

Applebees in Danville is one of those places you can go and never wait for a seat, my experience anyway. I’ve never had a problem with the food but it’s long overdue to upgrade the inside. New carpet or flooring would be nice. It’s like it’s barely cleaned. The outside looks nice though.

Absolute incompetence. Arrived tonight 12/20 at 855 pm. I was immediately seated. Couple behind me seated as well next to me. They were asked for their orders within 5 minutes. I waited till 920 pm and no one asked for mine. Not busy tonight at all. I left hungry and offended. Already had my order planned out. About $70. You're loss.
