Applebee's Grill + Bar

Came to this place after years if not eating here, abd nothing has changed, you get sated fast yeah sure, but getting your order well thats a different story. If you want to eat by closing time you better get here at opening time. Also too apparently eating good in the neighborhood means you get plastic to-go cups and forks. I definitely will not be coming back at all and I recommend everyone in the surrounding area not to come here unless you want to wait 2 to 3 hrs for low class chain restaurant food.... this place sucks hands down. There was also a group in my area and they got they food so out of order that half the table was done before the other half got their food. And they wasn't busy at all.. guess all the cars in the parking lot was employees or people parking and going to longho

It's Sunday 3/1/26 and my first time visiting. I wish I could have had a pleasant experience but unfortunately I don't. First of all once I entered...there wasn't a greeting from the hostess. There wasn't a hostess. I waited while there were waitresses available. There were 2 people at the bar and floaters. They looked at me and continued there conversations. So I politely took a menu & seated myself. I still waited....no one asked me anything nor still greeted me. The 2 people around the bar was talking about some type of trip and wiping the bar for the 100th time with no customers sitting at the bar. I eventually just got up and left. Nasty. Nasty. Nasty. The booth seats are cloth and covered in grease/dirt. They’re supposed to be green with a pattern on them but they were nearly black. My phone color corrected a little so the picture looks a little less dirty than it actually is. The ceiling looks like caked dust even though I’m pretty sure that’s just the design of the tile. But still gross looking hanging over the food. Flies were flying around while we were there. The food was gross and cold. We got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It tasted like they opened a jar of Tostitos spinach artichoke dip and slightly microwaved it. My kids got the Alfredo pasta and mozzarella sticks. My kids typically eat anything and everything. Worst ever never will return. I love Applebee's but tonight ruined it. The 2 for $25 turns into a $70. Bill because I wanted cheese on my broccoli I got charged and extra $7.98 and my husband was charged $2.99 for his salad, and $3.99 for the mashed potatoes with bacon. Never happened before and will never happen again. So disappointed we were not told of all the extra charges until the waitress brought the bill. I don't mind paying for good service but refused to bring me a menu when asked to show me on there all the upcharge prices.

Never fails. We always enjoy the food and drinks. It Sometimes gets a little overwhelming for the bartenders and it takes a while for us to get our drinks, but all in all the atmosphere and the jukebox helps us stay entertained. Michelle makes a great margarita.!!! All staff has been nice and respectful! Thank you Applebees in Griffin :)
