Applebee's Grill + Bar

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I brought my father-in-law out since he was visiting from Scotland. First, we were informed that our infant daughter couldn’t sit in the high chair because it was a fire hazard. It took over an hour to get our food, and the salmon was raw (the manager told us it was “rare”). The chicken parmesan smelled like feet with barely any sauce, the grilled chicken was dry, and the salad was prepared incorrectly. One of the salads was completely missing. The wings were good, though. We complained to the manager (Kristy), but she refused to give me her last name. She was completely rude and barked at us, saying she didn’t owe us anything and that the food was perfect, if the children hadn’t been with us this confrontation would’ve went a completely di

Burgers were soooo good. Everything was hot, served well. Server was awesome. Update: Well, here it is, just a matter of weeks later & oh, how things change. We asked for our burgers to be rare. They were completely well done aka tasteless. The fries were not only tepid but old & dried out, like they'd sat awhile. The female who brought our food literally placed it on the table & walked away. There was no offer of condiments or anything else. My husband had an empty beer glass in front of him & there it sat. I was never offered a refill of my soda though my drink had been consumed. There were very long waits in between visits from our server who made no attempt to rectify the situation other than to say, oh, sorry. Don’t waste your money! I ordered the Oriental Chicken salad and found it had more Chinese noodles than lettuce. When I was done eating, I was still hungry, There were enough starchy dry Chinese noodles left to fill a coffee cup.. and I had already eaten close to half of the noodles because I wanted to fill myself up. I asked the waitress if I could please have another breadstick. It was very good. She told me they would charge me two dollars for one more piece of bread. What kind of restaurant charges you two dollars for another piece of bread? First, they try to trick you by serving a salad in a bowl with a 2 inch lip around it. It’s supposed to make us think that the salad is bigger than it is. That trick went out in the 1980s. Come on folks! Show a little concern for your patrons here

Today I stopped to eat at this restaurant in Inverness. The atmosphere was nice, but the food service was terrible. The food was cold, and I waited more than 30 minutes without any explanation. I explained the situation to the waitress, Barbara, who was very attentive, but it's not fair to pay for cold food and have to wait so long to be served. I urge the management to address this issue, as this kind of behavior negatively impacts the reputation of the Applebee's restaurant chain. Customers pay for good service and quality. I spent $58.55 today, not including the waitress's tip, only to receive this level of service

If I could give 0 stars for food and service by the manager I would. We eat here often and it’s always hit or miss but not like tonight. Tonight we were served burnt to a charcoal crisp chicken and rare steak that was cold to the touch that was supposed to be medium. After taking 10 mins to have a manager come to us, we ate out mashed potatoes and he looked at our plates and said since we ate half he will charge half. Not even let me get you a new piece of chicken or anything. He offered us a free desert. Then when handed the bill for half of the cost my card was charged for 10$ more than the half cost. He then blamed it on the server. Really ashamed at the manager and his way to treat his employees and customers.
