Applebee's Grill + Bar

UPDATE: After following the link provided I received an email and then a call just a few days after and the manager sent me a gift card for the total of my bill. So, I added a star for that and will give them another try, most likely dining in instead of take out. ORIGINAL POST: I ordered the 2 for $25 deal at the Clay NY location for the wife to pick up after work and we got a burnt Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger and a dry Chicken Parm. The only thing my wife could taste was the burnt bread. I actually couldn't believe that they boxed and bagged that. The chicken was overcooked, but edible. The sauce on it was so dried out that it looked and tasted like sun dried tomatoes. The pasta was completely dry on top and not much better underneath. I guess that will be it for ordering out from Apple

I ordered curb-side to go tonight for dinner. When I got home I was beyond disappointed. The bacon cheese burger I ordered was too done and the two very small pieces of tomato were the end pieces with a piece of root in them. The onion was literally two small ribs of a slice, not a whole slice. I also gave t the oriental salad, which is my all time favorite that I get regularly. It was very small, more like the size of a side salad. I got an extra side of the dressing because usually the salad is too big but today it was just. The to -go containers of dressing were only half full and tasted watered down. I would rather spend $35 at McDonald’s than do this again.

We've been here many times and food and service WAS usually good. Here on Sunday was the worse we've ever seen. 1 waitress, said new was clueless. Gave out menues and disappeared. Finally ordered. 50 mins later we got appetizers enough for two. We were a party of 4. Disappeared. 15 mins passed and got served. Dumped everything and took off. My grandaughter didn't get hers. No one around. Finally located someone and got it 10 mins later!!. The food was terrible!! My son's hamburger was totally raw. We like rare but not that raw. My riblets had no meat on them. Wife's noddles in a white sauce wasn't cooked! Daughter in laws chicken I wouldn't give it to my dogs it was so bad. Asked for the manager and cook came out and started arguing with us. We couldn't believe it. Manager did show up and

Once again we ordered dinner and the food came out raw uncooked. My wife ordered a oriental chef salad and loved it. I ordered a big burger and fries. I ordered it well done , it came to me very rare- raw. I had waitress take it back and order me another. The second order took a long time , my wife had finished her meal. I complained to the manager and he compt my meal. He apologized and wrapped my meal to go and assured me it was cooked well done. I got home opened the meal and the burger was medium rare. This is my third meal in Clay receiving half cooked meal . I can only assume the grill cook doesn't have or doesn't now how to use a meat thermometer. I think upper management should look into this. The waitresses are super friendly and it is a nice restaurant.

Great experience tonight. The food came out hot, fresh, and way better than I expected for a quick stop. Everything was cooked right and tasted great. Service was friendly and the whole place felt clean and easy. Definitely a solid 5‑star visit
