Applebee's Grill + Bar

I went out with a friend to have some appetizers and a drink and received STELLAR service from Logan! He was attentive, beyond kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu’s contents. He informed us about some drink specials that we were not aware of, and recommended drinks that we loved. We truly appreciated his energy and are so grateful to him. We received our appetizers very quickly and they were delicious! We highly recommend the pick-three appetizer option. All in all, a lovely night. We definitely recommend Logan as a server if he’s available!

I was very disappointed in how slow their service was. We were sat at a table with a non working kiosk and the server waited 10 minutes before coming to take our order. We ordered the Asian zing boneless tenders which tasted more like teriyaki and then the shrimp& bourbon chicken which was more like baked chicken minus the bourbon.. Definitely not coming back here to this location. The only good drink that was worth it was the Berry blue blast mountain dew.

The signage outside completely blocks the restaurant and the restaurant is not even on the signage. Theb once you actually FIND the restaurant this place is etremely hard to get into like Fort Knox. I drove circles around it trying to find decent parking, all the spots are very far from the building. Its best to park on one of the 5 parallel spots that are barely paintaed .Customer service is mediocre, i got a strange look wheb i asked jlynn for help. I find it odd that a restaurant wouldn't have a low calorie (alcoholic) beverage option...why is that? It makes it difficult for patrons with the beetus. The dining room as way too bright, the atmosphere is like walking into a well lit cafeteria even at 2300. Oh and they were out of EVERYTHING we wanted to order, so dont come here on a Sunda

Tonight's experience at Applebee's was preluded by several mediocre to poor experiences at other Muncie restaurants, so our expectations were not high. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the overall good experience our dinner was this evening. Our quoted wait time was 15-20 minutes, but we were seated in 10. We also had friendly and personable host staff, which is rare around here. Our server was Zach, a young friendly server with a genuine smile. He took it upon himself to have our kids' entrees with our appetizer. This was great because by the time our food came out, our kids were content and no longer hungry. During this visit we received exceptional service from Logan! He provided us with lots of insight on the drinks available at the bar and the contents which make them up. He has extended knowledge of the drink menu! He was very polite, with a sense of humor. He wrote down our order and asked if we needed anything else. He also checked in often seeing if we needed new drinks. He brought the food out and checked on us a few minutes later. He is simply one of the best servers!
