Applebee's Grill + Bar

This was the first time to an Applebee’s as we don’t have them in Canada. I was not disappointed at all unfortunately our location is suffering like so many other others from staffing shortages but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing time. We decided to sit at the bar or bartender/server was Richie A. He was a machine. He greeted us right away made sure we were taken care of. He was doing multiple tables and the bar at the same time and everybody was served super fast. Definitely it was an amazing experience between the service from Richie, the food, the portions and the pricing so impressed. Wish we had them up in Canada. Definitely will visit other locations in the

Walked in and it wasn’t crowded but we were early. I ordered the sweet spicy chicken sandwich and breaded cheese sticks. I forgot to picture the food before eating. The chicken sandwich was juicy all the way through. Great flavor.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, however the service was not the best, seemed like the restaurant was short staffed. We had ordered a cheese burger, which was over toasted and seemed to be sitting for a while before it was brought to our table. We also ordered a pasta, which we tested it and decided not eat it cause it didn’t taste good either. We enjoyed the cheese sticks and its sauce.

Good food and good service! Great value for the money. Everything we ordered was good. Chips and queso, pretzels, ribs, hamburger, all good.

Place didn’t have much atmosphere and was not busy which was a plus, starter was great, but the main which was the shrimp. The fries didn’t taste great and the shrimp didn’t taste fresh and almost pre-heated. The slaw was missed which after an 8 hour flight I can’t be bothered to ask, but also wasn’t asked how was the meal was which made me think maybe the people who work here know how it’s cooked 😂
