Applebee's Grill + Bar

Popped in after work for a bite. The location was pretty clean. Service was a lil slow to say they weren't busy. A d had a couple hiccups with the orders but it was taken care of.

Food was very good, pasta sauce was a little bland but very happy with the service! I’m glad they were open late!

Applebees in Temple was the place to be Christmas day! The atmosphere was lively and festive! The food and service were amazing! We only had a 30-45 min wait time! We had the Holiday Dinner Special, along with a Ribeye Steak n' onions, Mushrooms and awesome gravy seasoning on a ficotta? Bread sandwich. A couple of Blue Margaritas set it off!! Our server "Ni" was amazing! He was right on time when we were seated in spite of the crowds. Ni made us feel special, and accommodated our every need while seamlessly attending to other customers. He presented himself in a gracious and professional manner. This added to the spirit of the holiday! The whole atmosphere was warm, with friendly chatter between guests as well. We went in for the dinner special, the 1 appetizer, and 2 entree deals. We both got the steak dish, one with garlic one without. The portions looked skimpy next to the menu pictures. Considering that we were there on a Thursday at a none-peak time, I would have expected a cleaner restaurant. The men's restroom had a very disgusting toilet that had overflowed, and a urinal that was also clogged and useless, according to my adult son. After hearing that, I avoided the women's restroom. We sat at the bar. We had our drink order taken, and then we waited and waited and waited. After getting our food, the waitress didn't stop by during our meal to check if the steaks were cooked correctly, if the overall meal was okay, or if we needed anything else. Server was Ni’Shawn D. Came in around 6:30- Things were fine, albeit he seemed like he was avoiding our table the entire time we were there. I wanted to order another drink and he just never came back until the app came, around 10-15 minutes later. THEN he WHISTLED AT ME. He WHISTLED AT ME like I was a freaking DOG to ask me from TWO tables away if things were okay. I am DEFINITELY never coming back and I hope that $5 tip was worth being a jerk. Also, apparently medium and well done mean raw and pink.
