Applebee's Grill + Bar

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The bathrooms were dirty, which was already a bad sign. I ordered the shrimp Tex-Mex salad, and shortly after eating it, my stomach hurt. The food did not taste fresh at all—the rice tasted like instant boxed rice and the dish was served suspiciously fast. The service was just as disappointing. The waitress Angelo never came by to check on me or ask how the food was. He only came at the very end. For a $30 plate, this level of food quality and customer service is unacceptable. It was almost 10 PM and there were barely any customers, yet cleanliness, food quality, and service were all lacking. Overall, a very disappointing experience

Food was decent I guess, as good as you could get at Chili’s or Red Robin, but terrible service. We were ignored by the staff as our waitress seemed annoyed to take our order and then never checked back in on us. We wanted a box but could never get one due to the service (or lack of service) so instead we wrapped it up in a couple napkins and left. Atmosphere also gets one star because the table behind us kept staring and laughing at us which made us uncomfortable during our visit (not what you really want for business). Our waitress served the table in front of us, then skipped over us and went directly to the one behind us. If you’re in the area, just go to Chili’s which is about a block away; you’ll get better service and the food is much more worth it.

Went on NYE, right before they had a rush. Staff was so friendly and was on top of how many people arrived back to back. We sat at the bar with Noah. He is 10/10, friendly , efficient , and attentive. I highly recommend sitting at the bar with him. We had the BEST time. Sam a waitress wasn’t ours but we watched her , absolutely amazing. She was quick with all her tables and her difficult large party. I’d recommended her if you don’t sit at the bar. This was my first time to Applebees and I was heavily impressed. 10/10

We did a takeout on July 2. Our coleslaw was spoiled. My burger wasn’t done. The salad was disgusting and I was sick all day yesterday from eating my bacon burger usually, it’s pretty good there but this time I don’t know what happened. Won’t be back for a long time if at all.

We come here quite often. This last time was even better due to our server, Dean. He was different than other servers we have had at other restaurants. He would strike up a conversation and actually got to know us. The next time you go, ask to see if he is working and request him and yiu will know what I mean. Overall it was a nice visit. We were seated right away which I didn’t expect since it was a Friday evening. The service was good. The food was good even through it did take a while to get it. We did the 2 for $23 (or something like that) deal.
