Applebee's Grill + Bar

I usually go to this location because I have found over the years that the Webster location HAD REALLY GREAT SERVICE, BUT TONIGHT......... This location REALLY dropped the ball. I ordered two 2 for 25 meals for myself, my husband and my two children. ( who are adults by the way) The half rack of ribs were charred to death and dry. The chicken penne pasta was TERRIBLE. The chicken was salty and burned. The burger that I ordered was RAW, when I clearly stated NO PINK!!! I don't eat anything rare let alone RAW!!! I called the restaurant and spoke with Alex about my disappointment with my meal purchases and even offered to take a Pic of the meals and send it to him. ( it really was that bad) I spent nearly 70.00 dollars and my family and I threw it all out. I am so mad because I drove to this

Service was slow. Waitress disappeared for long periods of time. I ordered the Ultimate Trio and ordered the boneless wings as Mild, as I cannot tolerate hot or spicy. I took one bite and my mouth was in fire. Had to ask a porter to get our waitress. Told her I ordered mild, and she agreed. She asked if I wanted a mild order, which I said yes. Next thing I know, the manager, Tiffany, came over with an attitude saying " you do realize our house wings are hot, right?" I told her no, I ordered mild. She said they don't have mild, got snarky and I asked if I still wanted some wings plain. Told her no thanks. Waitress came back and said the mgr was wrong, and she did comp the wings. Was so amazing our server was awesome. First time I have been there since I went on a date with my boyfriend 14 years ago I know it’s crazy. But we just in the process of having children and living life. We forgot all about it so one day we were driving and he’s like let’s just go and we just went. And it was just like it was done. It was nice atmosphere clean we could talk without being interrupted. They gave us time. The guy was pretty cool and he joked around with me when I was probably not so funny. All in all it was great.

We got here at 10:15 on Valentine’s Day after not getting into our original reservations down the street. Immediately it was a better atmosphere here. The servers and hostess were all in a great mood despite it being the end of the night on I’m sure a VERY busy night. We got right in, ordered and got drinks and food so quickly. People were having a great time at the bar, food was delicious, service was quick and friendly! Thank you for saving our vday night!!

We had Marquis as our server and he was amazing! He put in our order correctly and everything came out delicious and in a reasonable timeframe. He checked in on us about 6 times throughout our night and noticed my drink was empty before I asked for a refill. Although we’ve never had him as a server before, we will definitely be back and would love to sit in his section again.
