We had dinner at Archive tonight and overall WAY better than Espadín. Service: Our server was absolutely amazing and honest. He was quick and offered solutions to problems that were out of his control. Unfortunately their CO2 tank was out and the coke was completely flat. They didn’t have any bottled water (neither still nor sparkling) or bottle sodas to offer. As a new restaurant, I do believe it’s the wrong foot to start on, but can be easily addressed. Food: We were pleasantly surprised with the Cesar salad and the hamachi crudo, both were incredible and offered a taste that I have yet to have anywhere else. Absolutely amazing food and martini! Can't say it enough! I had the charred octopus and Cesar salad. Excellent service and fun atmosphere. This is definitely my new go to place.

Angela and the hosts were great. We loved the salad, the service was magnificent, my meat at the beginning I thought it was dry, but it was not, it was delicious. My husband enjoyed his salmon and mashed potatoes.

I’ll try the octopus if they have it. Loved the flavors but needed to be cooked slightly longer. Will order again just ask to cook longer. Had the short rib and gnocchi, the meat was tender, the sauce flavorful. Husband ordered the chicken mushroom veloute and the chicken was flavorful, mashed potatoes were brilliant! Service was excellent. I don’t think I’ve gone to a restaurant in old town and wanted to go back. I want to go back! Thank you.
