Ari Sushi

Cozy sushi restaurant in the residential neighborhood. It was packed so I decided to sit at the sushi counter. Very friendly staff. I was trying to decide between Sashimi Deluxe (21 pieces) or Chirashi plate (20 pieces with rice) but $3 cheaper. Both comes with soup or salad. I went with the Chirashi as I needed some rice. It turned out to be closer to a Sashimi plate presentation than Chirashi Don. Nice cuts of fish.

What a great place. One of my favorite hidden gems in NYC (midtown). Service is great the food is good and it’s a nice affordable price. I usually go for the sashimi deluxe which comes with your choice of soup/salad and then make my way through the sashimi. The hot sake on cold days is incredible and the cold sake on hot days make it even more worthwhile. Ingrid is also one of my favorites! She always makes sure everything is perfect!

This place was great and the staff were awesome! I'm visiting NYC and have been floored at the prices everywhere. I wanted sushi for my birthday and I'm so glad we went here. The steak "not-sushi" (Negimaki) was a hit with my relative who doesn't like fish, and the sushi rolls were perfect. The fact that it didn't cost an arm and a leg to have a wonderful and filling meal, as well as alcohol and desserts, made it even better!

Wanted sushi and found this place. Very clean. Got the Crazy Salmon Roll- salmon was so creamy- and a California! Yum! My hubby is pretty basic and got the tempura chicken, no veggies. Simple and delicious, too! Highly recommend!

We had a delightful lunch at Ari! Living in Upstate NY, we really miss having fresh, quality sushi—so this absolutely hit the spot. We kept it light since we were running around the city, but everything we ordered was fresh and satisfying: a California roll, spicy salmon roll, and hot sake. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet, and the service was excellent. Plus, it was an easy walk from Times Square. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town!
