Arrowhead Inn Bed and Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay and were warmly welcomed by the owners and innkeepers, Ron and Stephanie. Our room was beautifully decorated—elegant, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The three-course breakfasts were outstanding each morning, with delicious food and attentive service. One of the highlights was hearing Ron share the incredible history of the inn, dating back to Revolutionary War times—absolutely fascinating. We followed all of their restaurant recommendations and loved every one. We also enjoyed exploring Durham and the surrounding area, especially the breathtaking chapel at Duke University. All in all, a phenomenal stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend this B&B to others!

Stayed in the Lipscomb room.|From the ease with checking in and a warm greeting from Stephanie, to the attention to detail and charm. This place checked all the comfort boxes. The food was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and quiet with wonderful bathroom amenities. Ours had a deep tub and a steam shower. Fireplace in the bedroom was just enough. There’s history of Durham for anyone interested which is kept in a ledger to read. The grounds are very nice with fire pits and lush magnolias.|We will definitely return!

We recently stayed in Garden Cottage room at the Arrowhead Inn, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Beyond the room, the entire stay was seamless. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Logistics: Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in the Durham area, I highly recommend the Arrowhead Inn.

I came into town for a Porsche event and I really enjoyed my stay at this B&B. Faustine was a terrific host and Abby was a delightful waitress in the mornings. When I arrived, I was greeted with pumpkin spice cookies. They were homemade and delicious! I was there for two days and stayed in the Payne suite. It was a beautiful room and made for a terrific weekend. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. Faustine made some kind of French toast croissants with bananas and whipped cream and link sausage to go along with fresh fruit and wonderful coffee. The second day she served a French egg dish that was baked. The meals were creative, beautiful and delicious. Several of the Porsche owners stayed at the inn and the breakfast area made conversations easy. I have stayed in very high-end

We came here to have a short no kid getaway to get a break from the busy and chaos of the holidays while visiting family. My spouse booked the cabin. It was a superb stay! Everything from the jet tub, to the steam shower, and just feeling like we were back in the mountains in the home state. We will sure be back and will definitely be recommending this place for special dates to our friends and family.
