Customer Reviews
It IS what it’s claimed to be — they are one of the best croissant makers in the city. I got a chocolate almond croissant with a drip coffee and it was fantastic. It was buttery, creamy, plump, and flaky. The almond filling balances the flavor of the rich dark chocolate. Absolutely amazing. I got there at around noon on a Saturday and there was still a line, but it went fast. I didn’t wait for more than 10 minutes before I got my pastry and coffee. (2026 Feb 7, Saturday)
Arsicault Bakery was exceptional! The cinnamon croissant and all our pastries were insanely good, and the Londoner sandwich was delicious too. Great café lattes and worth the ~10-minute line, supper fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
Delicious and fresh!!! For all the vegetarians who don’t like egg washed croissants this is the place!!! None of the croissants had that eggy flavor the baker aroma is so good you will walk in to this place involuntarily!! Will keep visiting during our stay. Must eat here. The savory pastry was so tasty!!! Service was so charming, the girls working there were so lively and helpful.
Hands down the best croissant I’ve ever had in my life. There are three Arsicault Bakery locations in San Francisco, and this one usually has the shortest wait, which is a huge plus. Perfectly crispy on the outside, unbelievably chewy and buttery on the inside — this is a truly irreplaceable, ultimate croissant. The classic croissant is outstanding, but I highly recommend the pain au chocolat and the almond croissant as well.
We've tried 4 different pastries, my top choice was plain croissant, it was sooooo tasty! Highly recommended it to try. Also the apricot monkey bread was delicious too! The atmosphere was okay! The price was reasonable for croissants! Have fun! :)
