Asian Cafe Chantilly

I ordered the Shrimp Chow Mein via mobile order, expecting the standard stir-fried noodles. However, the dish provided looks more like a container of steamed vegetables and shrimp in a light sauce, a side of white rice, and a small bag of crispy 'Chow Mein' noodles (which look more like wonton strips). ​The website lacks photos, which makes the ordering process very misleading if you aren't familiar with this specific style of Chow Mein. If you are looking for soft, stir-fried noodles, you might want to double-check the menu or look for 'Lo Mein' instead. Be careful when ordering online. "Chow mein" is a transliteration of 炒面, chǎomiàn, which directly translates to 'fried noodles' in English. Be careful out there.

99% batter, 1% shrimp. I felt like I was on a scavenger hunt trying to find the seafood. If you love hide-and-seek more than eating, this is your dish!

I'm a food snob and will only give a place one chance before I move on. I've been back maybe, 5-6 times and every dish I've tried has been amazing. They don't add the nasty frozen vegetables to the egg drop soup or the fried rice which is a plus in my book. The order comes out in less than 10. The guy that works the counter even remembered that I like my food extra spicy on my second visit! I love this place!

I'm from NYC, grew up on Chinese food, and very critical of restaurants in general. The Asian Cafe Chantilly is an outstandingly excellent restaurant. The quality of the food is uniformly the very best I've had, and the service is highly responsive, flexible, and professional. I very strongly recommend the Asian Cafe Chantilly. It's actually worth a long drive if you live far away, that's how great this place is.

My go-to Chinese place! I especially love this place because the sauces are clearly homemade, not bottled. The take out hibachi is really good and the lunch special value can NOT be beat!! I recommend it to all my friends. Atmosphere gets 3 stars since it's really just a take out place, so it's not really meant to be an experience.
