All is okay really. Not bad but not incredibly amazing either. Prices are pretty good its not stupid expensive, portions are good. Lots of meat in the beef pho. Chicken plate is loaded and they give a good portion of rice unlike most places. Even down south.
I ordered the chicken pho - their broth has definitely gotten better over the years of being here as before it was way too sweet (too much rock sugar or cinnamon?) but now it’s bearable. The chicken is very dry though and tastes overcooked. For the price not worth it but since it’s the only pho place nearby they have the advantage. But when I can I’ll just go to pho in atascerdo or Santa Maria or back in LA. This is ok if u rlly craving it
This WAS our Favorite place to eat. We drive 30 min to order the same thing all the time. We thought they were always nice. We went tonight and ordered the shaking beef like we always do with extra sauce and extra meat and we always pay the extra money for the extra. Today when I got home, we went to try to eat it, and lt was completely inedible. The meat was so chewy and was all fat we could not eat it. We always have been under the assumption that it was filet mignon. The website even says that it is filet mignon. As you can see in the picture, it is definitely not filet mignon. When I called and I brought this up to the manager, she said that we always call and complain And that they have our name in the phone as” The people who always complain”. I could not believe that she admitted th
The garlic butter fried rice was the best thing we had here. Absolutely delicious! The fried chicken was decent, but the Banh Mi was sub par. We were looking forward to that the most. If they used a different bread, then maybe it would be a little better. The pork belly is definitely not what I'm used to getting. It was rubbery almost. The ones from Sacramento have an amazing crunch to the pork belly so they could definitely be improved there! Other than that the smoothies were great and the meal was decent. Will try just the Pho next time with tons of that amazing rice!
Foods here are really delicious. Its kind of fast food fusion style. vegetables that go along with dish are so fresh and premium quality. We normally eat Pho and pork chops rice. But today we eat shaking beef and parmesan fries and its shocking delicious.
