Amazing host and service. The food was delicious, specially the dessert. I would definitely go back , great greek dishes and outstanding overall experience

The interior is cozy and service is great. We did not enjoy the food that we ordered. The fried calamari was chewy, the pasta with clam sauce was soupy, the rice tasted as if were boxed rice etc. To be fair this is only based on the food we ordered.

We showed up 4:45 after seeing a show at The Gallery Players down the street. Admittedly there were 8 of us and we didn’t have a reservation, but we were hungry and ready to eat. The guy who greeted us had an attitude almost immediately, told us we could only eat outside (which was what we wanted in the first place) and then proceeded to chastise us for not making a reservation. Honestly, that one interaction changed the tone of our whole group and no one felt welcomed after that, so we quickly decided that another restaurant in the neighborhood would probably be more welcoming and appreciative of our business.

Athena is a hidden gem. The chef comes out to talk to you and make suggestions. Everything is family recipes and from Greece. We tried as many things as possible on the menu. Every single thing was 10 out of 10. Incredible Greek wine selection. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Really great food! We went here on a whim and had a great experience. The Greek salad was great but the mashed potatoes with black olives were fantastic! Our branzino was perfectly grilled. The portions were too much for us to finish. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return
