Atkins Golf Club At The University Of Illinois

Absolutely stunning golf course. The facilities are beautiful. The course was in amazing shape for November 2nd. I wish people would take care of the fairways better by fixing their divots!!! GPS on the carts and flag position was a huge help. Can’t wait to go back!

Very well maintained. Challenging yet fun layout for a 20+ handicap golfer. Greens were not too fast, pin locations not too terrible. Clubhouse is beautiful, practice areas are decent. I would love to play it again.

Nice course, very fast greens. The hole to tee box distance for some are far so it would be somewhat difficult to walk the course. Sand bunkers have beautiful fine white sand. Medium difficulty. Lots of U of I merchandise in the pro shop with big selection but prices are high there. Friendly staff.

Absolutely loved the conditions of the course here. Nice facility for sure. Worth the hour and a half we drove to play it.

Overall, course is in great shape and greens are pure. Disappointed in the pace of play…got through 12 holes in 3 hours. Do not buy an online deal through a 3rd party app, Atkins will not give you a rain check. Ended up leaving after my 12 holes due to a lightning being seen in the distance. They pause play for 30 minutes. If you come here, play with a 4some. If not, you will have to wait a good amount.
