Atticus Market

Of all the wonderful items that Atticus has to offer the Country Sourdough is my favorite, it's the best bread I've ever had. The bread is crusty with a nice char on the bottom and inside it's nice and chewy plus I like the fact that there is only 3 ingredients. My current fave to make with this bread is slice and toast it then top with ricotta that I whisk in mild olive oil and a drizzle of honey then sauteed mushrooms with ground rosemary. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and sitting outside in the warmer weather is delightful.

Sometimes I go in when I have a psychological need for a pantry item snack on my way home. I never get fresh baked goods here due to Celiac and stick to the grocery and snack area, which sometimes has good finds. I have sometimes found frozen items or chocolates. (The mini zucchini are wonderfully cute.) Lately, though, there hasn't really been anything quick and snack-y or quick meal that's safe for Celiac, and what they carry rotates all of the time inconsistently, so I usually end up going to P&M or Nica's. Also I am a hearing aid user and if I think the music is loud it must be absolutely too loud for people with normal hearing.

Food prepared here is good but marketplace product prices/labels need to be updated. Purchased 5 items today and most rang up as $1-$2.50 more than they’re labeled as in the store which is pretty frustrating when you’re already paying a premium for the location.
