My goodness this was comforting. The greens and yams, makes you want to lick your plate. A real home cooked meal, in a restaurant. I love the vibe and memorabilia. The chef comes out and greet the customers. The food was excellent and I loved the real southern touch of the homemade pepper sauce 😋. DO not hesitate to visit here if you are visiting Tupelo.

What a wonderful find! The food, the staff, the other customers were all just perfect. Everyone was friendly and convivial. The whiting and the ribs were excellent, as were the sides.

Everything was a 10 out of 10! Catfish was perfect, crispy and juicy. The greens were delicious as well as the Mac and cheese. Above all, the customer service is out of this world. The nice man sat down and talked to us for a while and was genuinely curious about us and our life story as well as shared his family history and the restaurant. Must stop by if in the Tupelo area!

I don’t know if the food or people were the best part. From the moment I walked in I felt at home - everyone was so catering and kind. The food blew me away as well - neckbone, pinto beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac n cheese, and peach cobbler. I highly recommend all those options but the mashed potatoes and gravy were the best I’ve had (outside of my mom’s), and neckbone is now one of my favorites!
