Great, fresh food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. I’m glad we’ve got a good Chinese buffet now in the area! Hope this place sticks around :)
Really affordable option to get a well-balanced meal here in UWS! I got a combo of 1 base plus 3 sides for $16 and they give generous portions so this could feed 2 people. I also love how many options they have for sides and they're Chinese authentic!
Aunt Jenny’s is a slightly better version of Panda Express. You can get small bowls with one, two, or three dishes on rice or noodles (noodles cost extra). They had three vegan/vegetarian options the two times I tried them. I was very excited for a quick Chinese spot with some veggie options as this neighborhood has turned into something of a “Little China” with mostly authentic Chinese places that have few to no vegan options. Sadly, the quality of food at Aunt Jenny’s was pretty poor. The eggplant was ok but covered in some sort of sticky, orange sauce that tasted artificial. The string beans felt like they had sodium poured directly on them. The tofu/carrot/celery stir fry wasn’t bad but it was pretty bland and I needed to doctor it up with some hot sauces at home to give it flavor. Ot
Huge portions. Super reasonable. Authentic. Glad they opened up here. Kung pao chicken a touch salty but will chalk it up to new opening kinks. Definitely in the rotation.
The portions are very generous and the food is great value for the price. The staff are really nice and friendly, making the whole dining experience very pleasant. Would definitely come back again!
