Aunt Millie's Family Restaurant & Bakery

We were passing through on our way home and saw this restaurant was packed with cars and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did, the food was incredible. The waiter was very friendly and patient while we were deciding what to get. They even have a bakery and we took home lots of deserts to try on the ride home. My only complaint is that it is too far to drive to from Michigan.

A delightful restaurant and bakery! First time visiting and was pleased with my meal and service. I was surprised upon entering with all kinds of baked goods, from cup cakes to cannolis. The menu is not large, but the weekend special add the the standard menus. They have tables, booths and counter service. The waitress was cheery and promptly took an order and returned several times to check on the meal. Couldn't ask for a better experience in a family restaurant. Hope to be back soon!

On our way through it was getting late and we wanted lunch. Aunt Millie's was the first place we saw that was not a chain so we pulled in. The place was very busy but we were seated and our orders taken in no time. I had a cheeseburger while the wife had a BLT and we also ordered an appetizer of onion rings. Our food arrived in no time, we actually received our food before the appetizer if I recall. No matter it was all good and we packed up what was left for later on the road. Our waitress was fast and polite, very busy but was not short with us. It was a nice dining experience.

This place came highly recommended by friends, family, and people in the area, so I knew I had to bring my family of 12 to see what all the hype was about and let me tell you, it absolutely lived up to every expectation! Let’s talk about quality because from start to finish, everything we experienced here was top tier. The food was phenomenal, and the bakery was on an entirely different level. Every single dish that came to our table was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Between our group, we ordered a wide variety from a simple two-egg breakfast to hearty omelets, fluffy pancakes, and perfectly portioned kid’s meals. A local spot that looks to have a rich history in the community. 3 minute drive from Sunset Beach. We got placed in the Sun Room. It was brutally hot and no blinds to take down. Ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adults . $58 total. Server or kitchen forgot to bring out appetizer we ordered. The Stuffed chicken with Alfredo sauce. Not great - taste like a TV dinner microwave meal . The giant meatball was just OK. Nothing special. It sounded amazing , sauce was watery. Both kids meals were fine, not not sides like fruit, vegetables were but of it Wins ; the staff is all very friendly. From the bus staff to the server. It's clear everyone likes their job.
