I was following a recipe for making a kummelweck roll, and it called for pretzel salt. You’d think pretzel salt would be easy to find at a local grocery store—but it’s not. I even tried ordering some from Walmart.com, with no luck. Then I had a great idea: I stopped by Auntie Anne’s to see if they might sell me (or even give me) a little. After all, I only needed a couple of tablespoons. Getting the salt from the young man there wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, but in the end he did give me a couple of tablespoons, and for that I’m very thankful.
As a franchise business, I find it disappointing that poor service and reviews continue to persist. With only two employees working, they struggle to keep up with the demand, resulting in long lines and slow service. It’s clear that someone needs to step up and improve the management for this store and support their staff better. My experience was quite disappointing—my mini pretzel dogs were burnt, and the wait time was excessive. I’ve also noticed many other reviews sharing similar frustrations, which is truly unfortunate.
The guy at the drive thru took my payment and then disappeared. Waited for 15 minutes, finally had to go in, turns out the food was "done" but no one bothered to bring it to the window. Went to eat it and half of it was still raw. Would give it zero stars if I could
Service is so, so insanely slow. We went to try it out and there was no one else there and it took forever to get our food, not to mention two pretzels and three small smoothies was like...$35? And none of it was finished bc nothing was good.
We were craving a pretzel so decided to give this a try despite the poor reviews. The young man who prepared our order was very nice but the food was subpar and unfortunately the biggest turn-off was the place just wasn't clean. We came mid-morning and it was obvious things hadn't been cleaned from the day before (dried dipping sauce on the counters), the windows were filthy. No stools at the counter to sit while waiting for our order. No attempt to make it a nice inviting atmosphere.
