Best birria tacos I ever had! The presentation was beautiful as well. I had a bite of my fiancés torta and I was pleasantly impressed by the array of flavors! The guy in the front of the house was very nice also. Can’t wait to try more food from there

We dined in on a Sunday. There are a few tables but we got lucky to get there before it got crowded. We ordered Fajitas de Pollo that include a big side of arroz & frijoles. My husband ordered Camarones a la Diabla. My son a torta de milanesa de pollo. And a bistec taco & chicken taco. Everything was great. They were really kind.

Honestly, a diamond in the rough. 10 al pastor tacos for 14.95??? Like cmon what a deal. And they were AMAZING. The owner/head guy was so nice and so friendly. I will gladly be coming back to keep eating their tacos. Yes 2 of us finished 10 tacos and we were FULL.

I have been to many Mexican restaurants. This tasted like home. The atmosphere felt like I was at home. Comfortable and small establishment. The food. Mmmmmmm. Well seasoned. Everything came out perfect. The carne asada was fall apart and not chewy… THANK YOU. I hope you dare to try the delicious quesadilla!

Reading is definitely known for having some of the best taco spots in Pennsylvania. There are a ton of hidden gems in the city, and Ave Maria Taqueria is definitely one of them! Ave Maria was recommended to me by Lola's Ice Owner, Cesar Arroyo, a fellow Mexican, and he said it was his favorite taco spot in town! He didn't disappoint me with his recommendation! Ave Maria's tacos were extremely fresh and were loaded with meat! It is definitely being overshadowed by the bigger taco restaurants literally right next to it, but next time you are craving tacos stop in and try their food! The little restaurant also has a very traditional, colorful decor inside that makes you feel like in you are in a small town in Mexico.
