Avocados Mexican-American Grill (Bohemia NY)

I was looking for highly recommended places for chips and chili dip. This place came up on my search. It’s advertised on their menu and also in store. I was informed they no longer serve this anymore despite still advertising it on their customer facing menu. I got a beef empanada instead and it was nothing special. Overall not very impressed and disappointed by advertising an item online and in store that is not available for purchase. In store picture 1/30/2026 of the unavailable(they no longer serve it told to me by two front working women) item chili cheese dip with chips.

Highly recommend Avocados catering! We got the Taco party pack for 15 and it easily fed 20+ Food was delicious, very generous portions. We added the empanadas and they were amazing. We will be back!

Will never return because food wasn't that good. My husband was disappointed with his steak fajitas and my shrimp tacos was ok...I had much better. Even the queSo dip wasn't all that. Their chicken empanada wasnt flavored well. I was disappointed 😞

Incredible food, Friendly and Great Staff! Found This Place On My Way Back To A Job Site. Will definitely be coming back! Everything was made to perfection!

The food was very good and a good value considering the size of the entrees. There are some small timing issues that have yet to be worked out but given they've been open only a week or so, it's still worth a visit. I hope to see them change the order call out from names to numbers. While I was there for lunch there were 2 name overlaps in 45 minutes, and it's not always easy to hear the names. Featured: A steak burrito and half of my Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla (because I ate the first half before thinking to take a picture)
