Excellent executive business lunch on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Avvio Italian Restaurant for a party of six. The service was outstanding. Our server Shelsey was the highlight—professional, attentive, and exceptional. Special thanks to Michael, the host/manager, whose great personality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Avvio is a fabulous restaurant. A great addition to the newport restaurant group. Wonderful food, staff, especially Morgan. We had a 40 minute wait for bar seats and he came over and asked if we wanted a drink while we waited. That is attentiveness at its best! Beautiful atmosphere. Also, I like how everything is paced when ordering. I would rather it be slow than fast. We like to enjoy the experience and not be rushed. The grilled chicken was a little dry but everything else was fantastic. Avvio never disappoints. Roger

I ordered salmon over a mixed greens salad. The salad was not as fresh as it should have been. My husband hand pasta and meatballs which was extremely good. We both had the chicken orzo soup which was delicious. Our waitress Matty was very pleasant but not as attentive as I would have preferred.

Excellent service, very clean Restaurant. Our dinner was cooked perfectly, plated plentiful. Desert was delicious. Mangr checked if we were satisfied. Nice area to do a little Department style store shopping (many to choose from) before or after you're lunch or dinner. We'll be looking forward to going back.
