A&W Restaurant

The unique and cozy atmosphere of this particular A&W made it the perfect place to stop and rest on our road trip a couple days ago. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well. They didn’t have an option on the menu for a caramel shake, but someone in the kitchen was able to make one with ingredients on hand and it turned out amazing!

Our experience was great! Even though they are short staffed they did not look or act frazzled. They were kind and were clear with the orders. The chicken tenders were really worth the wait. They were some of the best tenders I have had in a long time and my son loved them as well. They were juicy and crispy. Thank you such to the crew for providing such amazing service. They were even jumping in and helping each other out. Again thank you and stop in the dinning if you have some time. They place has a wonderful vibe and cute decor.

The overall experience was pretty good! The food was delicious, the chicken was SUPER HOT (not the spicy kind but the temperature kind), and the root beer was delectable. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of one thing: the wait. It took over 20 minutes for us to get our food! It was 2, 3 piece chicken baskets, a chicken sandwich, and a Papa Burger. There weren't a lot of people there when we ordered, either. It was also expensive. $9 for a burger, fries, and a drink. Our total came out to about $40 for the 4 things I mentioned earlier. Other than that, I would recommend this place! Edit: Attention Ladies! The bathroom is the door on the left of the sign with the push door (not the door with the handle!)

It is a standard A&W fast food place. I got a meal and got back on the road. The service I got was great.

The food was good as expected and the service was great. However, the root beer I ordered didn't taste like root beer. It sort of had a vanilla flavor, which is a shame because I purposely stopped here for the root beer. I hope they look into that problem.
