Axelrod's Fry Shack

We had been eyeing up Axelrod’s every time we drove by and we finally got to go during our last night of our trip. We got there near 9:30pm and the staff was cleaning up and ready to close but they were so polite and quickly made us everything we ordered without any complaints about the time or anything. Huge shoutout to the young lady working Saturday night, she was so polite.

Literally asked the girl at the counter “is it extra to add more onions and pickles to our sliders?” She said “no, it comes with it” I said “cool! I just don’t want to add it if it costs extra!” ….. she charged $2 for extras. I paid cash, and then realized immediately and told her hey please don’t add the extra toppings. And then she refused to give me my money back until I stood there and argued with her multiple times. The food itself took over 20 minutes and we were the only customers there. Food was okay, a little bland but not bad. Hard to like the food after that experience.

Quality has been declining past couple of years. Both the chicken tenders and fries overcooked and dried out. Had to throw fries out. Disappointed. Will not return.

This place is a drive through with a small window for ordering. You can eat it there on their little patio they made. They have fun little seats made from old Kegs. Their burger meat was great; the patty itself was incredible. Really seasoned well. The cheese worked well with it. The milk shake was good. The small was the Perfect size. My only negative was that there were no lettuce etc on it; I will remember to ask for those next time. But it was still great. Definitely would recommend

I ordered Screaming Chicken fry after trying Axelrod's Fry Shack for the first time with my family and it was really good. I never thought to add buffalo chicken to French fries. This experience has opened up my mind to new fries combinations and I recommend this location 10/10
