Ay Jalisco Clermont

We’ve been here a few times and th food is great. But the service is concerning. We’ve been completely ignored by our waiter more than one time, which I can get past. But after today I will not be returning. My grandmother in law is wheelchair bound and has dementia. We arrived and were the first and only ones at the restaurant as 2 more cars pulled up. The first car had another person in a wheelchair and they made it to the door just before us. We go in and the restaurant is completely empty minus the other party with a wheelchair. We were then told a party of 30 had a reservation and we could only do a booth. My grandmother in law cannot physically get in a booth. Only other option given was outside in 60 degree weather. I find it hard to believe the in a completely empty restaurant the

My first cisit... The food was really good, and the service was on point. It was a small place, so... not a whole lot of room. It's a must visit...

The elotes came out smelling like mayonnaise 🤢 definitely needed more crema instead of mayo! No relish. The Molcajete bowl used shredded cheese ??? I couldn't imagine using shredded cheese so I passed on it. However I will say my pineapple bowl was tasty. My daughter's tacos were OK. Everything was just mediocre.

The music and ambience of this restaurant is really nice! The tacos del birria and rice and beans were super flavorful! Surprisingly, I also loved the chips and salsa! The flavor was extremely impressive and wasn’t spicy as it sometimes tends to be at other places. The fried cheesecake was also delicious! My waiter Brian was quick and efficient, friendly and made sure I enjoyed everything I ordered. Another waiter (possibly mgr) even approached me as well to ask how I was liking everything. Thank you Brian and crew!

My first time at Ay Jalisco and I can say the food reminded me of Mexican food I’d eat in Arizona near the border. The food was absolutely delicious and filling! Service was a little slow but when there fulfilled our requests. I would definitely recommend Ay Jalisco to anyone here in Clermont or simply passing through for a visit.
