This is a great place to grab traditional churros. They have good coffee too! The real treat is the outdoor space. If you are in the area and have a taste of something sweet, give them a try. Everything is made to order so plan on sitting down to enjoy the vibe.

Met here to catch up with a friend and it’s the cutest lil spot!!! Only a couple parking spots out front but plenty of street and neighborhood parking. Lots of seating options inside and outside with such intentional decor! I had the cafechata which is 1/2 cafe de olla & 1/2 horchata. That was only okay to me, but my friend had a cortado with pistachio syrup & oatmilk and loved it! It’s a churrería so we had to try some churro bites. They were delicious! If you’re in the area definitely stop by! Will def be back to try something else ☺️☕️

The last time I came here was with my bestie and it was nice atmosphere. So I wanted to enjoy it today. So this morning I went in for a coffee that can wake me up. When I ordered I just asked what coffee can help. First of the customer service was off, not inviting and just made me not order anything else. Just a simple cajeta latte hot. I said it twice hot with almond milk. And she kept repeating with oat milk. Had to correct it. So then I waited and she got busy with orders. I waited a while. So when I got my order it was iced not hot. It even said on the ticket hot. I told the cashier this is not what I asked for. For me it felt like I annoyed her when I said it wrong. Azucanela is such a charming coffee shop! The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, with beautiful decor that makes it feel cozy and special. I really enjoyed the coffee, it was rich and delicious. I tried the churro too; it had great flavor, though it was slightly undercooked. Still, this spot is definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!
