Babe's Burger

I ordered a "basket" of fries for $15 and instead got a small tray. The sauce that came with it wasn't even halfway full in the containers. I felt cheated, there was nothing big about this especially when other stalls were selling fries in larger quantities for cheaper. The person serving me had the audacity to ask if "the fries were enough," that alone should have been a sign that I was being stiffed.

So happy they made an Ithaca location. One of my favorite burgers. Smash style with a few options to add on. "Make it a fatty and add a patty"! "Babe's sauce" is a must add. Great location outback of the Northstar Public house. Small bar outback too that has a nice variety of cans (beer, wine, seltzers).

If you guys are visiting them during ithaca fest, don't ask for them to not put a tomato on your burger. Because you'll get a snotty response that they don't do substitutions and that everything is pre-made ahead of time. Food was decent. A good amount of fries, burger was exceptionally thin and greasy, although the taste was passable.

When it comes to burgers in the Ithaca area, Babes Burgers stands out as a true gem. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of creating my own burger, and I can confidently say that it's one of the best burger experiences I've had in the region. Great burgers would have given 5 stars but as someone who doesn't like spicy there burger sauce was way to spicy. The sauce wasn't nasty. It was great, but it was just too spicy. We will be back
