Babka Bailout

Tried the Nutella and Dulce de Leche babkas for the first time. The Nutella was too sweet for me, while the dulce de leche was sweet but more balanced. Heating the babka makes it softer and easier to eat. The staff and bakers were nice and friendly, and might help by suggesting options when you tell them your taste preferences. It’s a nice takeout bakery, overall experience was decent, and babka is a good option if you want to try a new dessert.

Purchased babkas in person for the first time. Unfortunately my cinnamon babka wasn’t cooked thoroughly through. Lots of undercooked pieces throughout. Still gave 5 stars for the lovely young lady who served me and also the flavor is sweet and delicious. Google recommended I stick it in the oven for 10-20 min at 350 degrees to cook it through.but it didn’t work. $7/$13 spent is wasted

Extremely nice staff and amazing babkas! I first found out about this business from the Bwé cafe in Newport, there they sold some of the micro babka bailout babkas as pastries to go with their coffee and I was immediately hooked! I was so happy to learn that not too far away is the full Babka Bailout store. Note that this is not a cafe and not a huge store, it’s just their bakery and distribution location where they are able to sell their available babkas. If you want specific products and flavors it’s best to order ahead/online.

I visited their booth at Bryant Park in Manhattan for this Christmas season and the food and service were great! I appreciate Alex for his helpfulness and positive attitude! The Dubai chocolate cookie was amazing and I loved the matcha babka. I would definitely eat here again.

My daughter brought me some home from her trip to New York and it’s the best! Delicious soft cooked all the way through, but not dry!! Amazing!!
