This Middle Eastern market is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are welcoming. They’re even open on holidays, which is a big plus. The food quality is excellent, and the portions are generous—you’ll definitely leave full. While the space is a bit small, there is seating available, so you can comfortably enjoy your meal. One of the highlights is their variety of Iraqi and Arabic sweets, which are absolutely worth trying. The flavors are authentic and fresh, and everything tastes homemade. Overall, it’s a great spot for flavorful Middle Eastern food, warm service, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
Authentic food, nice people. Been several times and will continue to return. Can be a bit of a wait as everything is prepared once you order it. Love the chicken and beef schwarma, kebabs are great. Salad is fresh and colorful. Kids enjoy it, has a great store attached. Great addition to Harrisonburg. Pita and hummus are delicious. Flavorful and on point. I hope you enjoy!
Do not miss out on this little gem of the valley! The food is amazing and the service is too. I loved that we could pick the veggies alongside the entree and all sorts of sauces. We got the Chicken Shawarma and Beef Shawarma on rice, which also came with stunning warm bread. I never thought I would say this, but I actually think the food is so yummy it doesn't even need a sauce to make it shine!
I got food to take out, ordered online. Pretty quick, friendly staff and a nice selection of food to choose from. Although they gave me chicken instead of beef shawarma, I can't complain bc it was delicious! The portion was great, the food was so fresh and the flavors were distinct and refreshing. Highly recommend.
Im so glad to have finally tried the food from their deli. We got a falafel wrap with all the fixins (including hummus, beet salad, and seasoned cabbage); the falafel was moist, and not in a ball but kind of flattened which worked well in the fluffy pita pocket. The fries were hot and crispy but average flavor. I highly recommend trying the Iraqi sauce, if not on a sandwich then as a dip on the side; I think its made with date and/or pomegranate molasses, and it reads like a cross between ketchup and tamarind sauce. I also got a babaganoush on the side for dipping which was smoky, creamy, and had just enough salt in it. We tried the pistachio and walnut baklavas which were sooo yummy - light and crispy philo but rich and sweet filling, if not made in-house then obviously very fresh.
