BAD Bakers Elk Grove

My family has been buying Staxx since they first opened in Roseville. The Staxx were light, airy, 4-5 inches long and 1.5 - 2” wide. Now they are no more than 3” long (I measured) and very dense. Once they cool they are more like crescent rolls from a package. We are so disappointed. This has been our experience the last several times we have been there. No longer worth frequenting this establishment.

They absolute best! I will come in and write a better review with photos. The people here have gone above and beyond my expectations and are well deserved of the love. To the rest of the world. Treat them well!

This was an interesting spot. We ordered 60 count of Spanish bread and half a dozen count of the selected donuts on display. A lot of donuts were not stocked, but that's okay, the options seemed quite good. Would definitely return if ever in the area.

We visited Bad Bakers on a Thursday morning at 8 am. There is plenty of parking and no one in line, so no issues with service, parking or atmosphere. This was my first time in more than a year to visit this location as we were wanting Senorita bread. My prior experience with it was delicious. However, with this visit, the bread was below expectations. The length was very short, the bread was crusty and not soft and fluffy, and there was no glaze drizzled over it, the way it should be. The bread tasted overcooked and stale. We ordered a few other items such as the maple glaze donut, jalapeño bread, and hot dog bread. They looked yummy from the surface but the cream cheese bread was stuffed with unmelted cream cheese and was thick and pasty. The hot dog bread was decent. But the maple donut

What a gem of a donut shop! Popped in for star bread and decided to get a few donuts. The fresh star bread was absolutely incredible. I ate far too many in one sitting and have no regrets. Donuts are delicious as well but the star bread was the real MVP. Great customer service. The young woman helping us was really friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!
