Bagel Hound Ptown

yummy bagels, cute location, great service! I got the full lox sandwich and it was very good - but I am picky with the lox itself, and it was not my favorite. I like it really really thin, which is hard to find! I got the cheddar everything bagel, which was very unique and yummy, and scallion cream cheese - wish I had tried one of the more fun ones, but if I had, might have wished I had stuck with the basics! Worth a visit for sure, though :)

Come here! The bagels are fresh and delicious. There are tons of shmear options, each with unique flavors (we loved the cheddar jalapeno as well as the dill). The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, and sometimes they even give away 1/2 dozens near closing time to ensure nothing goes to waste. I plan to come here every visit to PTown from now on!

The bagels themselves were quite good. However, the experience was impacted by some operational issues. The shop opened significantly later than the posted hours, and it appeared that a brand-new employee had been left to manage the Sunday morning shift alone. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to have been trained on the register system, and many of the usual preparations for service were still not in place even an hour after opening.

Delicious! I believe they very recently opened .. so they’re now ramping up their offerings. So happy to have a place to get fresh bagels and schmear now!
