My wife Bell and I visited Bagelicious Café Ventura again, and every time we come here, it reminds us why this café is such a true treasure in Ventura County. ❤️🌴 The moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome — friendly, kind, patient, and genuinely happy to serve. This place will definitely leave you hungry for more. Some of the best bagels I’ve had. Crispy outside, soft and chewy inside — just right. Tons of bagel and sandwich options, all super fresh. If you’re in Ventura and love bagels, don’t miss this spot.

I absolutely loved this place. The bagel bread was so good, fresh and chewy with great flavor. The lox was amazing, honestly the best I’ve had outside of New York. The customer service was awesome too, the lady even gave my dog a towel and blanket to lay on which was such a kind touch. The freshly squeezed organic orange juice was the cherry on top. It’s so hard to find real fresh juice in the States since most places use bottled or artificial stuff, but this one was so fresh and perfect. I got the lox bagel on the everything and the Crazy Bagel, and both were amazing. I’m definitely making this my regular spot, it’s truly so good. Already want to go back.

Not only are the bagels less than mediocre, I’m blown away by the ridiculous cost. $8 for an absurdly small amount of lox on the side.The bagel sandwich only comes with egg and we have to pay extra for a slice of tomato and cream cheese!? How skimpy. The bagels we ordered all had sweet dough, including the garlic and jalapeño cheddar bagels. The bagel texture is dry and has zero chew like a typical bagel. I’m not sure how they make their bagels, but it is not adequate. Our whole family was disappointed and we will not be returning.

Bagelicious is truly a local gem! Alma and Adam are some of the kindest, most generous people — they remember their customers and always make everyone feel so welcomed. You can tell they genuinely care about their community and the people they serve. We used Bagelicious for our Ventura Surf Girlies meet-up, and everyone was obsessed — multiple women came up asking where the bagels and coffee were from because they were that good! If you’re in Ventura and haven’t stopped by yet, do yourself a favor and go. The food, the people, and the vibe all make Bagelicious an instant local favorite.
