$14 for the worst salad I’ve ever had. Nothing but 7 micro croutons in one corner, the salad was half way full and had nothing but stems of the lettuce, I ate 3 decent lettuce leaves and threw it away. I got a sandwich and the bacon bits were hard as stone. the bacon almost ripped my filling. It’s been around a year since being at this location and I don’t remember it being this terrible. Service was fast tho😂 because it was poorly prepared. You’re welcome for my money.
Baggins is one of the best sandwich shops in Tucson. Today’s visit is it is at Speedway and Kolb Rd. Had their Flash Special, (sign up and get notified of specials) High Baggins, egg salad etc. Cashier was kind. Atmosphere is a relaxing Southwest feel. Sandwich was great, and you always get a cookie
My party came in around brunch. E ordered the Prime Baggin's, the Unforgettable Baggin's, and Anasazi Chicken. We also had the soups broccoli cheddar and tomato basil. Everything was great! Except the water, it was pretty bad from the soda fountain. But all the food was amazing and the staff was very kind even though we were rather unorganized and changed our minds. The decor was confusing and didn't really match the logo or the cute bags or food was served in. It wasn’t ugly or unclean it just didn't match or make sense. We were given free extra cookies which is always fun. The Anasazi was a little dry, but still great flavor and when dipped in the tomato basil soup it was phenomenal. The breads, meats, and other ingredients were all fresh and tasty! We loved it!
I tried the gourmet grilled cheese and a side of potato salad this time, and both were very good. One of the staff were also handing out free cookies, which was my favorite part!
Man has the quality of this food gone downhill. I started coming here when they gave you a drink a sandwich and a cookie for same price now that you pay now for no drink. On their sign, it still says that you get green leaf lettuce on a cranberry Rojo and the cranberry used to be a lot better quality too. I got iceberg lettuce. I told the girl they gave me the wrong lettuce and she said that’s the only letters we have now the menu is not been updated. I was not at all impressed with what I got to eat today for $14.
