I stopped by this place for breakfast and coffee on a Friday morning, around January 1st or 2nd. Since it was early in the year and around 7:30 a.m., the place was pretty quiet, with only a few tables occupied, and I didn’t have to wait at all. The service was good, and I ordered a very simple, classic breakfast along with coffee. The coffee was actually quite good — bottomless and refillable, though I was fine with just one cup. They served milk on the side so you could add as much as you liked. The table was stocked with hot sauce and other basic condiments. The food arrived hot and freshly prepared. The sunny-side-up eggs were straightforward and well done. The toast, already buttered with salted butter, was crunchy and tasty. The real standout, though, was the breakfast potatoes — fr
This restaurant has been in my neighborhood for the longest time, their food is tasty and can say the portions are generous, service has been great every time I’ve been there. However, I know lately prices have been going up but I ended up paying over $50 for some scrambled eggs with chorizo and hashbrowns, and 2 orange juice glasses, and 18% tip When I often pay around 25 to 28 for a meal including tip, almost double, it definitely hurt. So, though I would come back, it will likely be like a once or twice a year kind of thing.
Came here with a group for brunch. I had a chicken Caesar salad which was just okay. My husband got a BLT. Fries were fine. Breakfast and eggs are probably the best thing to get here and overall solid diner food.
Excellent service, happy smiley young waitress took my breakfast order for one. Excellent chicken fried steak, perfect eggs and sourdough toast. Easy parking. As I entered I saw 4 police officers leaving after they ate. A really good sign if the local police frequent the restaurant, they know good food. Also, lots of locals saying hi to the cooks. Great locals vibe, clean interior, and great food.
It's ok, for the price we expected a bit more. Especially the extra $3.25 to add avocado and there was less than a tablespoon added to the dish. It was just a bit disappointing Also the waffle was not crispy and I would have liked it to be Also the eggs tasted a bit cheap, for california I was expecting a bit higher quality eggs than what is probably just the cheapest cage-free The toast was actually the tastiest thing
