Customer Reviews
We hosted my bridal shower at Bakaliko this past June, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The space is small but beautifully furnished, classy, cozy, and was perfect for our Ted Lasso "Biscuits with the Boss" coffee themed celebration with about 28 guests. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Leisa, our waitress, was incredibly attentive, warm, and full of personality. She truly made the day special. The Greek food was beautifully displayed and absolutely delicious: so much so that several guests placed to-go orders just to take more home! Whether you are stopping in for a quick bite, a signature cocktail, or a specialty coffee, Bakaliko is a gem. And if you are planning an intimate event, I wholeheartedly recommend it. They helped make my bridal show
I really wanted to enjoy my visit here, but the service was incredibly disappointing. After being seated, it took 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me. When the coffee finally arrived, the taste was super cheap. The lady making the coffee clearly had no clue of what she was doing.
A super quiet place, the coffee is super delicious, cappuccino with a touch of cinnamon and cajeta, cheesecake in puff pastry, and the place has an old-fashioned feel but I loved it. There's a variety of food too. 10 out of 10, really.
Espresso martini to die for, Ashley & Yanni were very welcoming! Only place in the Midwest you can get a Mastiha shot.
My favorite Greek market!! I visited right after a trip to Greece and it felt like I was right back there. The liquor and alcohol on the shelves are imported from Greece. The Dodoni feta is legit. And the baklava cheesecake is so unique and delicious. Yanni and Shams were so pleasant with the best customer service. They made us feel like we could stay all day. I absolutely enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to anyone.
