Bakery and Tamales Estrada

This is an authentic Mexican bakery and tamale restaurant. I think most people take food out but there are a few small tables. We visited 3 days in a row because it was so good. I came home with two dozen tamales for just 20 bucks. I think coffee is a dollar. The people who work there are lovely and the service is very good.

Every time I go here, the food and service are EXCEPTIONAL!! The tamales are HUGEEE and full of flavor. The conchas melt in your mouth. Must try in Amarillo!

This place was nice and clean. The girl that served us was also super nice. We got some pastel, menudo and tamales. They have some of the best tamales I’ve ever tasted and they don’t cheap out on the meat inside. They make sure they are full!!

I tried all the 3 flavored tamales and they were all very well made and flavorful. I took home a dozen. I also got pan dulce. Everything freshly made that morning they have a small sitting area where you can order other food from the menu. I’m excited to go back. They do sell separately if you don’t wanna buy an entire dozen or half dozen of tamales and I believe they are priced under two dollars Which is awesome !!!!

Just stopped by for the first time, and I’m so glad I did! I’m picky when it comes to tamales, but I tried the pork and rajas, and both were absolutely delicious. The best part? It’s dangerously close to my house, so now I can get something authentic without having to drive all the way to the Barrio. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, too. I truly hope this little gem of a bakery thrives!
