⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The sign says "Bakes," but I say "Bliss," A gingerbread witch blew me a kiss! The cupcakes are spooks, the muffins are mummies, With icing-spun webs and sweet, sticky tummies. A pumpkin-spice ghost, a cinnamon fright, They bake all the magic, both day and through night. So five stars I give, with a cackle and cheer, Best Halloween treats of the whole wicked year!
I’ve noticed that sometimes the cupcakes (with a vanilla base) taste really off, not the frosting the actual cake part taste like they added way too much baking soda (I am a baker so I know it’s baking soda). I don’t notice this with the chocolate or red velvet base cupcakes. My parents got my birthday 23rd birthday cake from here (vanilla frosting vanilla cake) and I was so excited, just for the whole thing to taste like someone dumped a few tbsp too many into the batter. I was so disappointed, the cake was beautiful and the icing was so good but the cake part tasted awful, I had one slice and ended up throwing the rest of the cake away. My family who also tried the cake noticed the off bitter flavor as well. This is really frustrating as vegan items are obviously more expensive than regu
I had an amazing experience. The cakes were mouthwatering, the flavors were incredible, and the customer service was top-notch. I interacted with Andrea at the front desk, and she was extremely kind and helpful, resolving my issue without any hassle.
The atmosphere and service were great! Also nestled in a cute part of town. I think I would have loved if this place had a bathroom. There are so many drink options and you have the ability to sit-in and enjoy your treats/ drink, but without a bathroom, it’s difficult to give this place a 5 star review. I also wish the gf items would have been clearly separated like the vegan ones were. I felt like I had to struggle to find the items they had since it didn’t match the menu online. But super grateful they had something gf to offer. I’d love a gf biscuit/ scone to add to what you already offer + more macron flavors.
The place was neat and looks cozy. They have only indoor sittings and mostly people stop-by for takeout than dining in. Staff were eager to help and really help to provide recommendations for your likings. We had their ice cream which is the cookie vanilla sandwich and the Macaron Red Velvet ice cream. For sweet tooth go for the cookies for the mid sweet, go for the macaron. The combination was so good! We will surely go back to this place!
