Bakhtar Bakery

I have been buying Bakhtar bread since they started their business. At first, the bread was very good. However, for about the past year, the quality has declined and the bread has not been cooked properly. I have informed them many times, but nothing has changed. Recently, the bread I purchased was totally raw on the inside and impossible to eat, so I had to throw it away. I truly hoped they would improve, which is why I waited so long to leave this review

While Bakhtar Bakery offers some sweets and bread, it also offers select beverages and various Middle-Eastern cooking ingredients. There were also quite a number of books and CDs in what I assumed to be in the Afghan language. I tried the baklava, cream roll, and 2 of the cookies. Baklava was a little doughy, but the taste was okay. The cream roll, and 2 cookies also had good flavor but were all a little old/stale. The flower-shaped cookie was soft and yummy, while the coconut cookie had a good nutty flavor. The cream roll was kind of flaky but broke apart in chunks. I think the roll and cookies would have been good if they were fresh.

This is the second time, this happens. I was enjoying my lunch with a nice piece of afghan bread, and suddenly I felt a plastic string in my mouth. The same thing happened a couple minutes later. Please pay more attention while preparing your dough. This is a popular brand that bakes afghan bread. Thousands of people buy this bread monthly. And half of them are children consuming the bread. I can’t imagine what would happen if a child eats these plastic strings with this bread. KINDLY PAY MORE ATTENTION PREPARING YOUR DOUGH
