Bamboo Garden Restaurant

Good Food, and they have amazing Sweet Tea (with lemon juice it seems), possibly the best (in my opinion) in the Mt. Pleasant area. Used to buy three cups from them. Would come back again.

We tried Bamboo Garden for the first time last week at the recommendation of a friend. The orange and General Tso chicken has a good taste, but the pieces had a lot of really crispy, thick batter over them. Most of the meat was not breast meat either. I was really disappointed with the large size shrimp fried rice. It was yellow in color, had some onions and about a dozen smaller sized shrimp. There were no carrots or peas or egg pieces to indicate it was fried. Some of the posted pictures showed veges in the rice so I’m not sure what happened with my order.

Terrible. Worst I've ever had. I deserve a refund. Reheating a piece of stouffers lasagna now and feeding this to the dogs(if they'll eat it) close the restaurant down.

I rarely write scathing reviews, but this place was absolutely terrible. I’ve lived here my whole life and this was the first time trying any Bamboo location as I love me some cheap American Chinese food, but everything went into the trash. I’m pretty sure I will have mild food poisoning tomorrow from the small bit I ate. Some details: Wonton soup: - wontons were okay enough I guess, but the broth literally tasted like salted pool water… I’m talking like chlorine mixed with salt… just awful Fried pork gyoza - quite literally the only semi-decent tasting item but pretty bland on their own without the dipping sauce Chicken teriyaki - Maybe I’m a dumdum, but I’ve literally never gotten chicken teriyaki ANYWHERE in my life where the chicken is battered and deep fried like it is in General T

Reasonably priced, authentic, and the food was ready really quick. Their workers were very friendly and informative.
