Ordered shrimp chow mein and chicken chow mein after having been told chop suey was the same as chow mein. I had researched the differences prior to going because my guest said they had great chop suey. Long story short, they aren't the same thing. Maybe our host intended to convey they didn't have one or the other. The meals came absurdly quick. Onion, chunks of cucumber, bean sprouts, celery in a white/clear gravy.I asked about the type of egg rolls and received the type I expected, the type that are about 4 inces long and an inch and a half thick filled with cooked cabbage. Fried rice for $4 more and white rice came with the meal. The egg rolls were chewy rather than crispy and were not sufficiently filled and thus were hollow and absolutely unsatisfactory. It was an absolutely amazing dining experience from Mrs Helen and Mr John! The place is very inviting and it’s family owned. The food was incredibly good and a really good price for how much you get and the amazing quality of the sushi! The mango roll was by far the best mango roll I’ve ever had and there were so many more that were beyond delicious! A very good hidden gem to have a wonderful dinner!
My wife and I came in for lunch. We were greeted by the owners, John and Helen. They are wonderful people. The food is even better! Bamboo is our favorite restaurant. Great food for a great price. You should try it!
We’ve eaten here several times and it’s always a great experience. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. My kids love watching the sushi being made right at the bar, which is a fun bonus. They also like to drink the japanese soda there. We’ve tried the pot stickers, pho soup, fried rice, sushi, sashimi, miso soup, and sweet and sour chicken, and everything has been excellent. The service is friendly and fast. Definitely recommend, must try!
Amazing quality food for a great price. Very friendly, family owned, great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!!
