Ban Thai Restaurant

I order takeaway typically and the food has been very inconsistent. Drunken noodles are advertised as wide egg noodles but 2 out of 3 times I have gotten vermicelli. Tonight I thought I would order fried rice because rice is rice. 30 minutes after I placed the order I received a notification that the order had been canceled the text said "Hi, My Name Here", your order from BanThai restaurant has been cancelled because the store is unable to fulfill the order. Your charges will be removed from your statement within 3 days. We apologize for the inconvenience." Will update if I ever see that credit to my account. I want to say they are good. I love Thai food, but this is too many consistent disappointments. 😢 OAYOR

Delicious food and excellent service. A hidden gem in Ashland that is worth going back to. I had the Drunken Noodle, Crying Tiger, and Red Curry from here. All three were delicious and had plenty of flavor, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating with our order. I am very happy about this place and will be coming back for sure!

I’m extremely disappointed with my today’s experience. I ordered noodles from this restaurant, and halfway through eating, I discovered a roach in the food. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety standards. I used to enjoy ordering from here, but I’ve noticed the quality has been declining over time — and this incident was the last straw. Please take this feedback seriously and take immediate action to ensure proper cleanliness and food handling.

Yes, this is a hole-in-the-wall, and a great place to eat at end of Fall Line trail! The chefs use a fiery wok which gives the Drunken Noodle an incredible, smoky flavor. Eat outside or get it to go if you live close. Also, check out their food truck if you can catch it.

The food is great. The space is small for group dining experience. It is a simple space but serves a great soup noodles.
