Bar Lucy - Italian Restaurant Bay Shore

This was our first time at Bar Lucy, and it definitely won’t be our last. From the moment we sat down, Jaden was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The kind of server who elevates the entire experience without ever hovering or rushing you through your meal. We started by sharing appetizers, the bread (recommended by Jaden)and calamari, both of which were delicious. It was Tuesday pasta night (such a great deal), and everything came out fresh and perfectly timed. I had the cacio e pepe, which was rich, simple, and executed beautifully, while Q had the bolognese with steak, which was absolutely incredible and that ✨️steak✨️ was cooked perfectly. We ended the night sharing the chocolate budino, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the meal, decadent without being overwhelming. Great foo

The food, cocktails and service were great. The pasta for the bolognese is homemade. Nicole told us that the tiramisu and cheesecake are made in house. My husband loved his steak frites. It’s a fun place for Italian food. Shoutout to Nicole and our servers for really great service. My husband and I were on a date night and it was a great time eating there.

Might need to come back here once a week for the Cacio e Pepe pizza. It was amazing! The chicken milanese tasted like a homemade cutlet in the best way and the cavatelli bolognese was also delicious. Finished with the cheesecake and the special valentines espresso martini. Drinks were perfect too. Can’t wait to come back!

Went here with my best friend for a late lunch after work mid-week and the service was great, food yummy, and drinks were flavorful and just right. The atmosphere was calm and aesthetically pleasing. Never felt rushed, was able to catch up end enjoy quality time with my friend, even after we had finished eating and having our drink. Waters were still refilled. Looks almost like an upscale cute diner/pizza restaurant. Almost feels like it belongs in the city! Loved it! We had the appetizer meatballs, which were delicious! And the pasta bean soup (forgot name), also delicious. Perfect for what we needed and right by my job, so would definitely return!

It’s beautiful in there and they’ve done an incredible job with the decor. The colors are bold and vibrant and the atmosphere is youthful. I applaud them for the change, truly. When it comes to the food, the portions were incredible for the price, but I found the flavors very lack luster. There wasn’t much flavor at all and honestly, I was thankful when condiments were bought to the table mid meal. The calamari we had as an appetizer was the best thing we had. Very fresh, not heavy with breading and came out piping hot! Aside from that, the mocktail I had was phenomenal (and I was happy to see options on the menu!), the service was lovely from start to finish and we definitely had food to take home. Really just wishing the food had more flavor.
