Bar Restaurant La Ruana Paisa

An authentic Colombian dinner party right here in Jackson Heights! That tower of delicacies is my favorite dish if you’re trying to taste a little bit of everything. Love the presentation and hospitality here too, the servers are so sweet

I came to La Ruana after hearing that they implemented some changes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the environment, staff, and especially the food and drinks. I came on Sunday as every week they have live vallenato playing, I loved the experience! I sat at the bar where I was taken care of by Esteban, and he recommended me a few drinks that I LOVED. The mojito de tamarindo was my absolute favorite, and the Coco Parrandero was delicious as well. I ordered the bistec empanizado that had great taste & presentation, I recommend everyone to order it at least once. Overall, I had a great experience and definitely will be back soon.

This place is pretty scamming s customers ! The will charge 4% Credit card use. They will put a 20% automatic gratuity. And after you give them your credit card, they’ll ask you hey do you wanna tip 15 % , 20% or 30% Additionally.. Do not recommend anybody to eat here !

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. Every dish had a perfect balance of taste and texture — you can tell a lot of care went into preparation. The service was warm and attentive without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!
